At the City & Guilds Group we encourage a very inclusive culture. To do this we actively listen to the views of our staff through the following ways:

Go back to What we offer >

  • The Employee Forum

The Employee Forum independently represents the voice of all employees, to ensure City & Guilds Group is an outstanding organisation to work for, where employees are highly valued and feel highly valued.

Supporting Group Strategy, The Employee Forum provides a two-way channel for Communication between the Board and staff. Employee Forum core themes include; Supporting People Work Streams, Career Development & Collaboration across the Group. We host regular games Fridays where people can play table tennis, PlayStation and board games that gives employees a chance to talk to representatives from the Employee Forum in an informal setting.

  • Lunch with Chris Jones, CEO

Our CEO invests time to connect with staff across the organisation in an informal way by hosting regular lunchtime sessions.

  • Unite

We also recognise Unite union for certain groups of our staff.

  • EES

We regularly run a staff survey on a range of topics leading to an action planning process to address issues raised.

'We have a really great purpose developing peoples' skills in order to enable them to grow within their roles and that’s something I have been able to do in my career.'
