People at ILM work in the following areas:
Business development, sales & customer service
The ILM Business Development and Sales team work on a territory basis across the UK, building face to face relationships with ILM Centres which include Training Providers, Further Education and Higher Education colleges. They also develop relationships with employers, offering consultancy and accreditation of their own in-house development programmes. The customer service team, based in Lichfield, work hard to ensure the ‘customer promise’ is delivered to all ILM customers.
Quality, compliance, products & operations
This is where products are developed, tested and launched to market. The team review the products during their lifetime and ensure the portfolio stays relevant and meets the needs of existing and potential learners. Quality and Compliance is a key activity to ensure regulatory obligations are met. ILM also offer ILMA, an assessment service, as part of its portfolio. The operations team work with customers to ensure delivery support for scheduled events, dealing with queries which cannot be answered via the ILM website as well as registering a new training provider and assisting an individual to become an ILM member.
Digital strategy, marketing and research
The digital, marketing and research team, located in London, are responsible for raising awareness of ILM products and services to key markets. They manage the website, content and social media, engaging with our audiences and communicating key information. They also work on raising the profile of ILM through PR and thought leadership research.
The finance team, based in Lichfield, make sure ILM’s financial affairs are managed, invoices raised and payments processed to keep the whole business running smoothly.
